Audition Info
*Please bring all necessary payments and all forms completed when you arrive at auditions.*
Where: 5848 Guilford Place - located in Stock Farm (downtown Bluffton)
When: Saturday, May 18th 2019 from 9am - 5pm
Preparation: Each child should prepare a part of a song (about a minute long). Remember to choose a song that shows their range. We recommend that they choose a song from Wizard of Oz, but it is not necessary.
In addition, they need to memorize a short monologue (about a paragraph in length). These can be found from various productions and can also be found by searching for them online.
Forms: Please fill out all of these forms and bring them with you to auditions.

Summer Camp
At Hilton Head Preparatory Main Street Theatre located at 3000 Main Street on Hilton Head Island
July 22nd and runs through August 2nd. Practice will be Monday - Friday from 10am - 4pm.
*Your child must be able to attend all reherasals in order to participate in the camp*
Dress Rehearsals

Monday, August 5th and Tuesday, August 6th from 10am - 4pm
*There may be a third dress rehearsal on Wednesday, August 7th*
Shows

Thursday, August 8th at 7pm
Friday, August 9th at 7pm
Saturday, August 10th at 2pm
Sunday, August 11th at 3pm
*Call time will be 2 hours before each show*
Cost
The price of the Summer Camp is $350 per child. The discount for multiple children is as follows: $350 for the first child, $315 (10% off) for the second child, and $280 (20% off) for third, fourth (or more) children. There is also a $25 registration fee per family. This registration fee is only needed once for the year and will count for all shows in 2019. Lastly there is $25 costume deposit (in form of a separate check) that will only be deposited if your costume is not returned on the designated date and in good condition. All payment is due at the time of audition.

A DVD of the performance

Professional theatre training, including acting, singing, and dancing

**There will be no refunds issued after the cast list has been released. Casting is a time consuming and difficult process and recasting is even harder. Therefore we cannot issue a refund.**

Why BYT?
Bluffton Youth Theatre, since it's beginning in 2015, has worked hard to be more than just a theatre company. At BYT we focus on building each cast and crew member's skills, as well as teach each person to encourage and support one another. Because we want each child to grow, we give everyone who auditions a part in our musical!
We also have a main goal of being a totally inclusive theatre. We believe that every child can shine in the performing arts regardless of their physical or mental challenges.
